Swedish massage is the style that comes to mind when most people think about massage. It was developed in Stockholm a couple of centuries ago and is the most common and best-known type form of bodywork performed today.
The goal is relaxing the entire body and this is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Additional techniques include circular pressure applied by the hands and palms, firm kneading, percussion-like tapping, bending and stretching. Lotion is often used to reduce friction and stimulate the skin.
Swedish massage is exceptional for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Deep tissue massage is similar to Swedish massage but is used to target knots and release chronic muscle tension. Other benefits include reducing inflammation and helping to eliminate scar tissue. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons, and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
Deep tissue massage uses strokes across the grain of the muscles, not with the grain as in Swedish massage. The more intense movements and techniques such as deep finger pressure may be slightly uncomfortable and cause soreness that lasts a couple of days before resulting in the desired relaxation and pain relief.

Synergy endermologie is a non-invasive technique for reducing the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite often shows up as dimpling on the skin, sometimes called the cottage cheese look, even in those who are fit. The look of cellulite does not necessary diminish with weight loss and liposuction fails to address this top layer of fat under the skin.
French plastic surgeons developed the techniques used in endermologie. The process is now patented in the US as well. Endermologie uses rollers that often feel like deep tissue massage, over problem areas of the skin. At the same time, suction is used to redistribute the skin and remove dimpling. Those opting for endermologie usually need about 14 to 28 45-minutes sessions to see results and must also have monthly treatments afterwards to maintain the smooth skin look.

What to Expect:

The body will be exfoliated before the herbal gel is applied.
After the gel is applied the body is wrapped in plastic film. You will be wrapped in a way that permits you to move your arms and legs.
The contouring gel is warmed before application. This allows the solution to penetrate deep into the fat deposits in the skin.
The gel penetrates the protein wall around the fat cells allowing the herbs in the solution to break down the bulky toxins which are then removed through the lymphatic system.
No salon shower is neccessary after the wrap. Drinking water after treatment will flush away toxins though the lymphatic system. Inches will stay off unless you intentionally overeat to gain the fat again.
Pre-Treatment Checklist:
Avoid consumption of food or beverages one hour prior to the wrap.
If you plan to exercise the same day, do it before the wrap and only do cardio exercise.
Do not shave any area before the wrap.
Avoid using lotion or oils after showering and before the wrap treatment.
Bring a liter of water to consume on your way home after the body wrap.
You should allow a total of two hours; you will relax comfortably in the wrap for 45-60 minutes.
Post-Treatment Checklist:
Drink at least a liter of water within 24 hours to flush out the toxins and broken-down fat. Drinking 2 liters produces the best results.
Do not consume caffeine, sugar, fried foods, carbonated drinks and alcohol for at least 24 hours.
Dieting well before and after the treatment will soften the fat deposits so that the treatment will be more effective.
